THE Referral PROCESS for early start & private pay clients

Referrals Via San Gabriel Pomona Regional Center:

Request for Services:

If parents or families are clients of the San Gabriel Pomona Regional Center and wish to access Lili Bee Infant Development Program, they can request their coordinator for our services.

Coordination with Regional Center:

The coordinator from San Gabriel Pomona Regional Center will contact Lili Bee Infant Development Program via email and phone call to initiate the referral process.

Service Availability Determination:

Once the availability of services is determined, a representative from Lili Bee will contact the family to arrange the schedule for services and set a date for the initial session.

Intake and Services Agreement:

Prior to the commencement of any services, the family will complete an intake form and sign a services agreement provided by Lili Bee Infant Development Program.

Service Commencement:

Services will begin on the agreed-upon date stated in the services agreement.

Requesting Services:

Families who wish to obtain services directly can contact Lili Bee Infant Development Program via email or phone call to request services.

Availability Confirmation:

Once availability is determined, families will be informed.

Families must complete an intake form and sign a services agreement before services can begin.

Prepayment for Sessions:

For out-of-pocket services, families are required to make prepayments for sessions prior to the commencement of any services.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT WORKING WITH LILI BEE

  • At the moment, we do not accept insurance to cover our services. However, families can obtain detailed billing from us, which they can then submit to their insurance provider for possible reimbursement. We provide detailed billing for families to use, allowing them to submit claims to their insurance company.

  • Our attendance and cancellation policy requires families to provide 24-hour notice for cancellations. Low attendance may result in placement on a waiting list. Late cancellations will incur a fee, and more than 3 cancellations in a month may lead to termination of services. No-shows will result in automatic session cancellation and a fee of $50 for out-of-pocket services.

  • Make-up sessions are offered based on therapist availability. They must be scheduled within the same month as the missed session; we do not carry over hours to the following month. Availability for make-up sessions will vary depending on the therapist's schedule.

  • Parent presence and participation are essential for all our services, as they have been proven to be key factors in the child's progress.

  • We currently offer services in our clinic, in your home, and in the community at locations such as daycare and preschool settings, based on availability and approval.

  • For our infant program, in-home services offer invaluable benefits. Caregivers and parents have the opportunity to learn essential skills and behavior strategies tailored to their child's needs, enabling them to reinforce and teach new skills that foster independence. Our team provides personalized parental training sessions, complete with modeling and demonstrations of effective techniques.

    During these in-home sessions, parents actively engage with their child, running segments and interacting in ways that promote bonding and effective teaching. Through this hands-on approach, we've observed significant improvements in children's behavior and developmental milestones. Active parental participation and learning are key components of our program's success.

  • This is based on the client's needs and the required services. The Program Supervisor will make a request to your coordinator if an initial evaluation is needed within the first 30 days of service.

  • Yes, we can continue providing services once your services with the regional center have ended. These services will be out-of-pocket, and a new services agreement will need to be created for families to continue receiving services

  • Currently, we offer specialized infant development services tailored for children ages 0 to 3 years, and early childhood services designed for children ages 3 to 5 years.

  • This will depend on the underlying needs and progress that your child makes. For regional center clients, all services are terminated at the age of 3 or when the child meets the goals. However, parents have the option to continue services on an out-of-pocket basis.

  • This depends on the needs of the child and approval from the regional center. Typically, clients with behavioral and developmental delays meet for sessions lasting an average of 60 to 90 minutes per day. In other cases, clients with only developmental delays meet once a week for 60 minutes. Some families supplement with additional hours through out-of-pocket services.

  • Our sessions are structured to address all target goals, from adaptive living skills to social-emotional components. They are divided into small segments for parental training and support, living skills development, parent-led sessions, and target goals and objectives.
